Diana, (aka
Christine Karnofsky):
Diana began performing professionally in 1975. Her dance experience comes from a diverse background including ballet, jazz, varied styles of belly dance, flamenco, and her Greek heritage. Her belly dance career began in the early 1970's with the world renowned Burt Balladine as her teacher. She has performed all over the country and in the San Francisco Bay Area where she lived until 1987. Diana's fluid, sensual and joyful style conveys the love of her art as she entices, energizes and draws in her audience. This is equally expressed in her teaching as she completely supports her students in their process and personal style. While teaching eclectic techniques, Diana encourages and promotes "feeling and connection to oneself through the dance experience". For more information about Diana, or belly dancing, please go to

Her class environment is playful and light hearted with an emphasis on keeping things uplifting and fun. Wendy is also a certified Pilates Instructor and has also been a licensed massage therapist for over 25 years.
