Rachel Field

As a nurse, Rachel views exercise as an essential component of physical and mental health. She has valued exercise throughout her life being an avid hiker, backpacker, gym rat, and college soccer player. Having struggled with her weight throughout her life, Rachel knows what it takes to achieve weight-loss and maintain a healthy and strong body. With her drive to remain active and healthy she tried pole dancing and became addicted to a new exercise that was much more than just a fitness class. Pole dancing is not only fitness for the body but also for the mind and spirit. She found that pole dancing has helped her tone her body, and, more importantly, she found herself more self-confident. She feels stronger, leaner, and more beautiful because of pole. In 2013 she competed in the Pole Sport Organization Competition taking home the silver medal in her level.

In addition to her in-depth apprenticeship program at Vertical Fitness she has studied with Cleo the Hurricane, Jamilla DeVille, Rafaela Montenero, and Jennifer Kim. Pole has, and continues, to challenge, inspire and empower her. She is passionate about sharing pole fitness and encouraging others to embrace an exercise that truly makes you feel empowered. After long nights working as a trauma RN, Rachel can’t wait for a little Pole Therapy!
