Beginner Pole

If you haven’t yet tried Pole Fitness, or you feel you could benefit from a refresher course please join us for Beginner Pole.  Class begins with some gentle stretches to warm up the body and increase your flexibility before moving onto the poles.  Each class will introduce a mini-routine consisting of a spin, transition move and floor work. Expect to be surprised at how much fun you have and how empowered you feel!

This class is open to all fitness levels… No experience necessary!

You may also want leg warmers for the first part of class. You may wear Pole Fitness shoes, or bare feet. No street shoes please.  They damage the floor. Shorts, tops, leg warmers and shoes are available for purchase in our studio.

Pole Tricks

This class focuses on Pole Tricks! This is where you can practice those inverts, climbs, handsprings, and aerial moves or combinations. We get out the crash pads and the instructor is ready to spot you and help you find the key to getting that move you want. Please feel free to email any video clips of moves you're interested in to verticalfitness@me.com prior to class. :)

All Levels are Welcome! If you're not inverting that's okay, there are plenty of spins we can teach you!

We will work on refining existing intermediate moves while also learning new advanced ones. All Levels Pole Fitness

All Levels Pole Fitness is an open class format with the instructor circulating around the room, working individually with each student on the moves chosen by that student. It's a chance to get that move you almost got in class, perfect the moves you already have, problem solve a move that's proving challenging, or simply just another opportunity to be on the pole so you can progress more quickly. This is also a great chance to take a class with your friends that are at a different ability level than you. All levels are welcome! A warm up and cool down will be provided by the instructor.

This class is open to all fitness levels… Some pole experience is helpful, as it is not a "follow along with the instructor" format!

Independent Pole Routine

Would you like to create a pole routine of your own? One that reflects your individual style and showcases the moves and music you love?

Whether you're putting together a surprise performance for a significant other, preparing for a competition, or you simply want to refine (or define) your own pole style, this class will help you get there.  This class is a chance to work independently on your own rouitne with an instructor on hand to help with music, constructive feedback, spotting, and all around support!

Class will begin with a short instructor-led warm-up, and students will then be free to dedicate the remaining class time to additional stretching, pole moves that require a spotter, or independent work on their personal routine! There will also be an opportunity for each student who chooses, to share their routine with the class if they'd like to practice performing in front of others.

Bring your iPod (with your favorite songs loaded) and headphones so that everyone can be working on their own routines to their own music. The instructor will rotate your songs on the studio system as well.

All levels welcome! Let us help bring out the very best in a routine that allows you to showcase your own style, talent, and all around amazing-ness!

Duration: 1 Hour

Pole Flow

Ready for a little pole cardio?

This class is all about flow and continual movement! It's about getting out of your head and letting the music guide you. We dim the lights, turn on the music and keep it slinky and slow. Moving throughout the class you will have a chance to improve your transitions and floorwork as well as find your own unique pole style. This class is designed to help you let go and really own that beautiful sensual part of yourself in a safe and supported environement. If you think you're not sexy this is the class you need!

All Levels are welcome! This is not a class where moves are taught, it is about putting the moves you already know into action!

Pole Jam (Open Pole)

Pole Jam is your chance to simply come play on the pole! Work on whatever you'd like with other pole enthusiasts doing the same. Share moves with others, work on your own routine or practice what you've been working on in class. This is a Pole Jam (not a pole class) so don't expect instruction from our staff - although an instructor will be on premises, most likely busting out some moves on her own pole!

Some pole experience is REQUIRED to attend Pole Jam! This is not an instructor-led class format.

Pole Jam is set up to be one person per pole. If you'd like to share a pole with a friend let us know and we will make room in the class.
